Our Story
Renegade opened as one of the only locally owned Electrical Distributors in British Columbia. We felt that there was space for us in the market, where the national distributors were not focused or couldn’t support the customer base effectively. There was the need for a “throwback” kind of Distributor, back from when Distributors were knowledgeable, customer service was the focus, and they worked for their customers to help them be as profitable as possible.
Based on experience, we felt that distributors become more bottom line focused then customer focused, and service became something they talked about, but didn’t truly embrace and act on. Our intention was to be specialists in the areas we saw opportunities, and began on our way to educate ourselves and staff on electrical distribution systems, unit substations, EV charging, and lighting controls. We proudly offer our clients these specialties, and take pride in helping them with design build work.
Renegade Electric Supply was founded on the idea that customer service should be held to a higher standard. Today, we work to exceed those standards, and to ensure the success and profitability of our clients.
